Look, why anyone would even attempt to diss Ludacris is beyond me. His “stay off the T.I.P. of my d*ck” line from years back is still cold and just because buddy is getting money outside of rap nowadays doesn’t mean he isn’t down to put a rapper or two back in their place. ‘Cris obviously felt some type of way towards Drake and Big Sean’s perceived slights towards him in regards to the flow he used on “My Chick Bad.” Conjuring the spirits of several legendary battle records before him, the DTP front man lays all of his cards on the table and draws a line in the sand with “Bada Boom” from this month’s Back To The First Time.
To be honest, I’d like to thank Drake and Sean (who both brushed off ‘Cris shots via Twitter). Luda’s always been one of those guys who has all the talent in the world, but sometimes falls short when needed. This right here though? Yeah, he was zoned all the way in and basically pleaded for someone to say his name. And quite frankly, it’d be great if that happened. I’d love to see Luda put a rapper on front street.
