Coachella sold out quickly and the sky is blue. Neither should surprise anyone, but, hey, at least we have social media to live (and creep) vicariously through others who will go. Scheduled performer and Los Angeles native Flying Lotus is already taking to the Internets to let non-attendees know what they’ll be missing, as he tweeted on Friday that he’ll be debuting his upcoming LP at the festival. The DJ didn’t provide any other details that concerned the follow-up to 2010’s Cosmogramma, but whatever. Potential Coachella attendees can expect a heady live set, while fans at home can pray that Coachella will post official footage (and they might, considering they posted Kanye’s ostentatious 2011 set in its entirety).
Whether a listener’s there or not doesn’t matter. FlyLo’s releasing a new album and expectant fans will anxiously count down the days until the Indio, California, performance. That also shouldn’t be surprising.
