Sometimes music videos are elaborate. Other times, they’re comprised of drinking OE forties and breaking down an ounce of popcorn with some ladies, then edited accordingly. In the case of this freshly-cut visual to ScHoolboy Q’s and A$AP’s exceptional “Hands On The Wheel,” there obviously wasn’t a budget for lowriders or shutting down any streets, so any assumed cruising or above and beyond on behalf of the two inebriated gentleman at hand can be forgotten. But, knowing the mindset behind this exclamation point from Q’s Habits & Contradictions, director Jerome D spliced together enough blacked-out, staggering footage of the two budding stars to know they definitely shouldn’t have gotten behind the wheel anyways.
Shoot, as dimed out as this song is, the video could have been one uncut frame of these two dudes playing patty-cake for four minutes and we still would’ve posted.
