New Jersey Nets 101, Los Angeles Clippers 100
The Nets are one of the few NBA teams who practically play every game on the road. Last night’s game against Lob City in Newark didn’t bunk the trend in the slightest. Most of the oohs and ahhs came LA’s way and you could even see a giant face poster of Blake Griffin in the stands. So you already know the place went nuts when the albino rhino making another YouTube memory out of Kris Humphries. The two were at it all game and Kris chalked it up as another day in the office. Then he got right back to work a few plays later.
That’s alright though. The Nets did everything in their power to squander their double digit lead but Jordan Farmar’s game winning three from damn near Toronto capped the win. Much talk was made about Deron’s career and franchise high 57 in a close win over the bumbling Bobcats. The idealist basketball nerd in me would much rather take a dub against a GOOD team with six players in double figures and three double doubles. Now if only these fools can play like this more often.
