It’s three months into 2012 and lest the greater public forget that G.O.O.D. Music has an album dropping some time this year, a fact easily forgotten after witnessing “N*ggas In Paris” replaying that was the “Watch The Throne” Tour and the whirlwind surrounding the album. However, silence on the LP has been broken by none other than…Mannie Fresh.
The New Orleans producer mentioned the project and his work with it recently in an interview with MTV. Apparently, all the former Cash Money musician needed to do to get involved with DONDA, Inc. was appear at a Watch the Throne stop, play Yeezy some beats and sign the dotted line. While it’d make an interesting drinking game to take a shot every time Mannie says “good” or “cool,” viewers should feel secure knowing that A) he contributed production to the mythical album and B) it’s close to finished (or so we should assume).
Now, Kanye’s a perfectionist, so maybe one shouldn’t get his/her tailfeathers in a bunch about a soon-ish release. Yet, he mentions that the album is “all over the place,” which is something “cool” that fans shouldn’t forget.
