Justin Timberlake. Justin Bieber. Justin Tinsley. One of these names fails to belong. Timberlake, you’re out of here, buddy. Since J.T. (the rich one, not me) is apparently content on giving everyone waiting on a third album the finger, The Biebs continues to run away with the “Most Popular Justin In Show Business” crown and his new single, “Boyfriend,” is already on course to elevate his career to the next plateau. The popular consensus states the single is a hybrid between songs ranging from Timberlake’s “SexyBack” to the Ying Yang Twins “Whisper Song” and for the most part it is a fairly accurate assessment. In comparison to his previous records, it is proof J.B. is more than willing to branch out an experiment with all forms music.
As I noted nearly three years ago, however, his music, especially around this corner of the net, is not going to be met with open arms 99.3% of the time. And that’s fine. Just know this kid is a walking cash cow and he knows it, too. Already, the projected numbers for “Boyfriend” are slated to be his best ever for a single and could very well leap frog Katy Perry’s “Part Of Me” for best sales of the year. The single, set to appear on the his new album, Believe, is expected to also give the worldwide pop megastar his first ever Top 10 Pop Song. That, my friends, is how you hit the ground running.

P.S. – Timberlake, this definitely doesn’t cancel your membership in the club of Justins though. Give us that third album and we’ll act like this six year hiatus never happened. Cool? Cool.
