Not to heap hate on the Heat, but wouldn’t it be fair and accurate to call their play as of late as despondent? On Monday night, they lost by 15 points to the Pacers 105-90, which was preceded by a 103-87 loss at Oklahoma City on Sunday night. The two most recent L’s mark their first double digit back-to-back losses this season and they’ve lost four of their last eight games (also, six total losses in March, all of which were road games). Not horrendous, but not good for a team vying against Chicago (40-10) for the best record in the Eastern Conference and home court advantage. Both LeBron and Wade seem to be slumping a bit and morale cannot be boosted when Roy Hibbert’s posterizing people on your squad.
