Loosies: French & Wale Remix C.R.E.A.M., Travi$ Scott Teams With Tip For A Hit, CyHi Returns, Mac Miller & DJ Maseo

By / 04.13.12

Apparently, certain folks really like French Montana. Others are just unsure how the often-slurring, fur-rocking Bad Boy deserves all the hype. However, that gap begins to bridge when you hear Frenchie’s Wale-assisted exclamation point, which samples Wu-Tang’s biggest song and will have most folks singing along to the pimped out hook in no time. If you’re interested, the full Coke Boys 3 tape is available for download here or streaming at DatPiff.

French Montana Feat. Wale – “Wherever We Go”

Occasionally, it seems Tip tends to lend his services to songs simply to get help up the exposure – no matter the quality. And, while that may be true in some instances, this beastly single from Travis Scott’s Owl Pharoah EP is indeed fit for a king. Pumping up listeners with cascading keys and a floaty hook, this could actually make some noise.

Travis Scott Feat. T.I. – “Animal”

After an unnecessary absence that had fans wondering where G.O.O.D. Music’s A-Town connect went and Kanye plugging in the guy with all the Chainz, CyHi returns with two and a half minutes of baritone bars to remind everyone that his highness is back and the Ivy League Club mixtape is on the way.

CyHi The Prynce – “The Open Letter”

For the lead single from his DJ Conductor project, De La Soul’s DJ Maseo recruits the Piffsburgh kid to help bring the soul. Or the funk, depending how you wanna call it. Either way, Mac’s “I know you sleeping on me and that’s a kid napping” line is slick enough to fit both bills.
