“You are witnessing elegance in the form of a black elephant”
Killer Mike was, is and always will be a Monster. In this clip created by Yours Tru.ly, he goes beast-mode performing the EL-P produced cut “Untitled” at Tuff Cut Sound in Burbank, CA.

Album of the year. At least so far.
So far, it’s between R.A.P. Music & Life Is Good.
Its Crazy cause the anticipation for K.R.I.T. was so high but it fizzled out pretty quick
i fux with Killer the longgway
Kool-Aid Changed Flavor Names to Colors; Cherry Now Officially Known as Red, Grape–Purple [goo.gl] …this sh*t got me rolling lol
If El doesn’t get the mainstream recognition he so deserves something is very wrong coz he’s easily royalty when it comes to production. I go to sleep each night praying to rap’s allah that he and Em work together.
GOD I wish. The Slaughterhouse Hammer Dance remix he did makes me think there’s at least a little bit of hope.
Album of the year thus far: “Cancer 4 Cure” El-P and “R.A.P. Music” Killer Mike. El-P on the boards for both. Good year, imo. Also, didn’t check out any of the Life Is Good shit (except for Bye Baby) and that song ALONE makes me think it’ll be a contender. All that and K.Dot’s “debut” album?! Life, for hip-hop this year, IS good.
I think the lack of an overarching theme kind of diminishes Cancer 4 Cure a bit when comparing it to R.A.P. Music & Life Is Good. It’s far more insular.
I could agree with that. If I didn’t enjoy El ripping songs to shreds enough to ignore it, that’d be a problem. But it ain’t, at least for me. Also…”Tougher Colder Killer”>>>>
Like to say that ab souls album is better than both Nas and Killer Mike’s album
I love TDE to death, but you really think so? I mean, each to their own…I like all of ‘em. Gun to my head I’d go with Mike Bigga, but…*kanye shrug*
Ab-Soul’s album is great, but I prefer R.A.P. CS was a little too long for my tastes, and the production wasn’t quite as strong overall.
Yeah, that’s a great way of articulating it. It was about the unity and quality of production, which RAP Music nailed. That said “Black Lip Bastard (Remix)” is in my top 5 songs of 2012. Such a fantastic song. And a Donny Hathaway sample? C’mon now.
Control System was too long but it deserves a mention, esp for The Book of Soul.
What no shoutout for Trackstar the DJ?
