Starting today and running for the next 20 days, Nike's diggin' in the crates for their "Designs That Changed The Game" project. From now until August 11th, the Swoosh will be revisiting a different basketball shoe daily, bringing out never-seen-before design sketches, stories from designers, early ads and graphics plus more, tracing from 1992 to the present. We'll be joining them along the way, cherry-picking models that we have love for but adding a NikeInc feed to your RSS is a good bet to make sure nothing's missed.

To start things off, there's no better choice than the Air Force 180 Low, a true basketball "cushioned to protect, but built to withstand" the pounding of its most famous endorser, Sir Charles Barkley, and recently back on store shelves as a retro. Click through to view the pics here and then head over to Nike for the full spiel after viewing the pics here.
