Havoc continues his conversation with AllHipHop and in the process Mobb Deep’s demise keeps getting more and more embarrassing. Not much more to say here other than Hav’s quickly become the villain in my eyes. Of course, this is still without hearing Prodigy’s side of the story and waiting on his turn to (potentially) talk reckless too, in which case the whole operation will have beautifully blown up in my face*. And what we have in today’s edition of Mobb Deep Fuckery is Half-Witted Hav addressing a variety of issues that don’t need to be addressed.
On Prodigy beefing with Jay-Z
“That was a beef that should have never even took place. Always in my eyes, I always felt like that. But for the greater good I just chilled and said ‘That’s what you wanna do, go ahead and do it.’ I’m more into forming alliances that starting beef with people.”
Of course you are have Hav. Jay didn’t call you out and say, “You little fuck, I got money stacks bigger than you/when I was pushing weight, back in eighty-eight/you was a ballerina, I got your pictures, I seen ya.” If that was at you, I’m sure the story would have been a little different.
On his current standing with Prodigy
“The thing with me and P, it’s unfortunate but it’s not nothing where I want to strangle the dude or nothing like that. Like I said I still got love for him, but it is what it is.”
You probably don’t want to strangle him, but I bet I can find a tweet that says you want to slap him.
Just SMH. Over and over again.
If you prefer your misery with company, check the early clip where Hav reports that Mobb is on indefinite hiatus.
Update: With timing being everything, Hav let’s loose the track “Separated (Real From The Fake).” Make of it what you will.
* – Sometimes I feel like this whole Mobb Deep disaster is a direct ‘f*ck you’ to me as member #13 in the Mobb Deep fan club, but that’s neither here nor there.
