President Barack Obama took the night off last night and sat at home on the couch with his daughters. Even though the campaign is in full swing, he didn’t have to work. The First Lady did all the work for him at the Democratic National Convention.
Speaking before the gathered crowd on the convention’s opening night, Mrs. Obama sought to convince voters that her husband was still the man for the job, the one who inspired hope and had many believing in the idea of change four years ago. “When people ask me whether being in the White House has changed my husband, I can honestly say that when it comes to his character, and his convictions, and his heart, Barack Obama is still the same man I fell in love with all those years ago,” Mrs. Obama said.
The FLOTUS continued on sharing her own story of growing up on Chicago’s south side, the values taught by her parents and how being a parent took precedence above all of her other duties. But in the end, it all came back to her husband. She shared “I have seen firsthand that being president doesn’t change who you are — it reveals who you are.” And with her words, Michelle Obama revealed much about our President.
But she was almost overshadowed but none other than Kim Kardashian, who felt so inspired by the speech that she had to share her feelings – and a party plug – via Twitter.
I’ll be at the Official DNC after party this Thurs, September 6 at Club Hush in Charlotte, NC! Excited to see everyone there!! #spon

There’s a rant that goes here. A long-winded, venomous, Kanye-style rant that goes on and on IN ALL CAPS. But David nailed it with his retort, via Twitter of course.
There’s a spectrum between Michelle’s speech and Kim kardashian tweeting about an after party. Find out where you fall.
