Grown men in pig masks freak me out. That was the conclusion I came to about midway through Slaughterhouse’s visuals for “Throw It Away.” Of course, that statement doesn’t speak on the record’s quality one way or another and the final judgement belongs to the listener.

My verdict’s that the song is a sharp representation of Welcome to: OUR HOUSE: an attempt at commercial success, that didn’t find success. The group comes off as largely sounding uncomfortable with album’s general sound, creating tracks – like “Throw It Away” – that are ultimately being sold on the (remaining) value of Eminem’s brand and not the lyrical expertise of Slaughterhouse.
