With the help of Blue Sky Black Death and Aighty behind the lens, Nacho Picasso lives up to the drugged out, tatted up “Public Enemy” that he depicts himself as in his music. In other words, he’s just being himself.
Most of Nacho’s videos follow the same blueprint–the slightly overwhelming onslaught of wildly exotic colors that mirror the wildly exotic substances mentioned throughout–and “Public Enemy” is no different. In this instance, however, the dizzying details, including the cartoons, nicely complement the slowed down cadence of the song. No pirate ships were used, but he and his fellow Moor Gang compadres look like they are up to no good, probably plotting how to be public enemies in the safety of the empty forest.
