Following last week’s video for the song “Howl At The Moon” comes the rest of L0-F! Side A, the five-track entrance into the mind of darling Jack Davey or, as she calls it, a closer look at “a girl, her shitty guitar, and introspective songwriting.”
It’s not the usual electro-soul we’ve grown accustomed to hearing from her as a member of J*DaVeY. Her L0-F! releases are a boiling cauldron’s mix of influences – from Nirvana, Lou Reed to David Bowie – stirred together. With those elements in mind, things get a little more edgy, a little more rough-hewn but still evolved in a manner much like what we would expect from the lady who’s band has continuously evolved with each release.
