We knew Jay-Z’s string of shows at the Barclays was leading to something larger and now we have our answer, or at least part of it. On Saturday night, October 6, Jiggaman will be hosting his last of the eight scheduled performances and the finale will be streaming live for the world to see via his new Life+Times YouTube channel. The news comes in the form of a short teaser clip featuring footage of Jay on stage during earlier shows and invites fans to enjoy everything from the comforts of home. But according to USA Today, that’s just the start.
“The channel, an offshoot of Jay-Z’s personal blog by the same name, will feature original video content including the Brooklyn Nets docu-series The Road to Brooklyn, the fan-interaction show Roc Nation Check-In and Well Dunn With Jourdan Dunn, which follows the exploits of the British supermodel…The channel will operate like a television network, right down to monetizing through advertising.”
Tune in tomorrow night at 9:30pm EST when things are set to kick off.
