God bless and safe travels to Terry Callier, the famed soul and jazz singer and guitarist who passed away on Saturday in his Chicago home on Saturday, October 27 at the age of 67. Callier was best known for his ability to mesh the sounds of jazz, soul, and folk for stick-to-your-ribs music. A good example his wizardry – and a personal favorite – would be “You Goin’ Miss Your Candyman” from his 1973 album, What Color Is Love.
