The internet will do a good job spoiling any and every piece of entertainment you anticipate. Therefore, I’ve done next to no sleuthing on GTA 5: the 2013 blockbuster threatening to corrupt America’s youth one copy at a time. Being willfully ignorant has served me well but even I have my limits. The new trailer dropped today and here we are; ready to be consumed by the game’s hype machine.
You’ll see the usual bits of dialogue and action intertwined here as seen in past GTA trailers over a vintage record. Plus you’ll get a peak at the three protagonists personalities along with a few supporting characters. However, you’ll most likely bug out at the early signs of GTA 5 returning to it’s over the top roots. I’ll let the cutscenes unfold on their own so the surprises aren’t ruined. Yet, from the look of things, it’s safe to say you won’t have to worry about Eastern European cousins being forced to bowl together.
At this point I’ll just add that Stevie Wonder’s “Skeletons” is the jam. The song’s inclusion in the trailer once again highlights Rockstar Games’ music sense.
“Skeletons in yo clooseeeeettt, itchin’ to come outsiiiiide!!“
