K.R.I.T. breaks out a well-scripted video to go along with his allegorical message in “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” from the Live From The Underground album.
Really diggin the video rare to see introspective videos in rap especially about a father figure that is not being berated in it. Krizzle is on fire
Dope! I wish he could have released this in conjunction with his other singles, take advantage of that spotlight to show his introspective side.
Going all the way on this one…This shoulda been the 1st single…Shame that the Grammys don’t nominate mixtapes, because he would have definitely won one
Awesome. And holy shi..why have I not listened to Live From the Underground yet.
Lets fix this problem….
This was a great song. The video accompanying it was really good too.
this was my favorite song from LFTU
Anyone know when a new Krit project is coming out?
Album and mixtape that diddint dissapoint not enough?
Wow… The end of the video… Thats something i never heard my pops tell me.
Favorite track. Really applies to my pops. I feel lucky because I was raised understanding the concept behind this song/book. Too many kids are being raised to be morally bankrupt.
Hip Hop ladies and gentleman
FYI: That’s his real father at the end. The young kid lead is his cousin. And, most of the scenes were shot in Meridian with some shot in his old bedroom in his late Granmother’s home.
