Rickie Jacobs takes it to the “We$TSide” with the help of producer Keishh for a strong start to 2013. The chopped and screwed chorus, varied delivery throughout, and even trace amounts of autotune make it a pleasing pastiche to behold. The most striking part of “We$TSide,” however, is Rickie’s confidence. Not overt, in-your-face self-assurance, but confidence manifested through his ability and ease at switching it up repeatedly over Keishh’s grand production. Songs for High School Kids is on the way.
