And so it begins “A$AP Rocky went the the Dominican Republic to shoot a video…” From there, the “Wild For The Night” video is equal parts mini-movie-slash-fashion shoot with a rap song thrown in to hold it together. Towards the end, Skrillex turns up the production to a frenzied pace as the A$AP Mob and a club for of patrons lose their proverbial shit. Better than the average clips seen on a daily basis just off the change of scenery alone.
And, you know what else? A song as charged as “Wild For The Night” deserves to eschew the humdrum rap treatment we’re used to seeing and it’s the curveball we’re coming to expect from Rocky and his Harlem brothers.
