Shaq Finally Destroys Aaron Carter At Basketball, Revenge 12 Years In The Making

By / 03.07.13

It was sport’s greatest upset, never mind the 1980 U.S. Men’s hockey team. In 2001, Aaron Carter–younger brother of Backstreet Boys, oh my gawd, heartthrob, Nick Carter–defeated Shaq in a game of one-on-one to set pre-teen girls’ hearts aflutter in his Aaron’s Party single, “That’s How I Beat Shaq.”

Well “defeated” should probably go in air-quotes since it wasn’t real or anything, but the former Lakers and Magic big man recently sought revenge on the younger Carter in a game of pick-up for Shaq’s “Upload” series with truTV. Shaq tells Carter in the clip that if Carter scores one point on him (HA!), he’ll donate $5,000 to Carter’s designated charity, which is understandably the Aaron Carter Needs A Jet-Ski Foundation or, probably, the Aaron Carter Needs A Few More Ounces Of Marijuana Foundation.

So the two squared off. Shaq dominated Carter, of course, while signing autographs and blocking the sh*t out of Aaron’s plate of chips and dip. Viewers should also note that Shaq just coined their next go-to ballin’ phrase in the clip, “I am Kazaam!”

But watch the clip and imbibe the rest of the funnies from the segment below. And that’s how Shaq unmercifully destroyed Aaron Carter.
