Once upon a time, a really big man took the mic at the The Source Awards and talked about producers “allll up in the videoooos” and stealing his artists’ shine. Fast forward two decades and said producer is still doing his best Bishop (from X-Men, not Juice) impression by absorbing any energy in his vicinity.
Last year, Machine Gun Kelly performed before the WrestleMania main event of John Cena vs. The Rock “Once In A Lifetime For The First Time Part 1.” Diddy was in attendance and probably for the first time saw the enormity of a WrestleMania event. 75,000 saw MGK perform live and millions watched across the world. So what does Puffy decide to do? He hops right in that nice little spotlight to host WrestleMania 29.
It’ll be wonderful to see him screw up names and wonder where Hacksaw Jim Duggan is while pretending to be a huge wrestling fan. Then they’ll have him do something with the Rock that’s 40 times more awkward than The Rock and Busta Rhymes on Smackdown! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m all in.
WrestleMania 29 airs live on pay-per-view Sunday, April 7th.
