Dead bodies, blow and boobies abound in this promo video for Ghostface’s latest project, Twelve Ways To Die. Titled “Rise Of The Black Suits,” a subdued beat produced by Apollo Brown plays the backdrop to Ghost’s intricate lines. The video itself is actually rather important: shot as something of a first-person perspective of a man hell-bent on getting his hands on a cassette tape, the visuals should pique interest for both the album.
And, as if that wasn’t enough, you Hip-Hop nerds should be on the lookout for the very cool collectors edition of the project, featuring the album co-produced by legendary producer Brown in cassette form. Needless to say, your Wu-Tang cave would be remiss if it didn’t include such a find. Head over to Soul Temple Music’s website for more info.
Also of Wu-note, Iron Man himself – along with Masta Killa and Killah Priest – stopped by Jimmy Fallon earlier in the week. A couple of days late, but well worth the watch: most rappers seem out of place in front of a live band, but the Roots and Ghostface prove to buck that trend.
