The road of irrelevancy is a tumultuous one, and Ray J clearly wants to avoid it at all costs. Hence, “I Hit It First.” Bobby Brackins helps Brandy’s brother craft a surprisingly infectious dance number that almost makes you forget that Ray J is singing about Kim K always belonging in his bed. Overall, the guy deserves an A for Effort.
“She might move on to rappers and ball players but we all know I hit it first.
“Had her head going north and her ass going south but now baby chose to go west.
“No matter where she goes or who she knows, she still belongs in my bed.
“I did that first so everybody know me.
“And if you would’ve come back to me girl we’ll make another movie.”
“I Hit It First” will be available on iTunes this Tuesday. The album, reportedly entitled I Put Her On, probably drops whenever Kim delivers her baby.
