TV’s #1 dad/former trapper, T.I., follows through on his promise by dropping the visual for his Wayne-assisted “Wit Me.”
Birdman recently confirmed the dust up between Weezy and Trick Daddy was now in the rearview. Good, because J.R. and Tip blaze through the streets of Miami in luxury vehicles with no worries* for the fast-paced single from Heathcliff Huxtable’s understudy’s forthcoming Trouble Man: He Who Wears The Crown. And it’s time to give credit where some of it is due.
1. Tip’s been floating effortlessly on damn near everything he touches as of late. Plus, I still stand by the belief the original Trouble Man was one of 2012’s best moments.
2. Wayne’s about as hit or miss of an artist as there is in rap in 2013, but the frenetic pace and wittiness of a handful of his bars were a solid reminder Cita’s baby boy still has some talent left in that noggin of his.
3. Place all personal disdain for either MC aside for five seconds. T.I. and Wayne in concert this summer means one undeniable truth. That’s at least two and a half hours straight of nothing but hits. Just take a moment to think about the depth of their catalogs.
