Bo still knows and the public still knows Bo. Those two reasons make watching “You Don’t Know Bo” all the more entertaining.
ESPN’s 30 For 30 originally aired in December of last year and now has found its way to the Internet since the DVD recently went up for sale (buy it on Amazon). We won’t load on more accolades because, before the feature aired, I wrote at length about the former two-sport star as did Gary (“Bo Knew”) after he watched it. Years removed from his playing days, Bo’s figure still looms both on the field and away from at it at cash registers, thanks to Nike.
Who should watch? Anyone who grew up under the aura of Jackson’s amazing accomplishments on the field and/or Nike’s powerful ad campaigns. Also, anyone who’s ever heard those older than them refer to Bo as maybe the greatest athlete of all time. His place in history will always be debated, but there’s no doubting he was supremely athletic and knew a thing or two about doing what it took to be successful in sports and life.
