Slaughterhouse may finally give fans that opus they’ve longed for with their next full length. But, they won’t be doing it without a key assist from a certain producer.
In a statement released via Shady Records on Tuesday, the rapping quartet is in the label with a short list of notable producers, none ranking higher than Just Blaze.
“The Core Four are spending the month of June in a secret location in New York City cooking up something new with a team of producers including the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Araab Muzik and Just Blaze. Just Blaze is set to serve as the album’s Executive Producer.”
The statement also mentions that “this isn’t a send-tracks-around, and everyone-records-in-their-own-studio type of album.” According to Shady, all four artists have been sequestered simultaneously for weeks working on material together.
Just previously worked with Joe Budden on his Def Jam debut as well as having placements on Joell Ortiz’ last LP, Free Agent. With the Megatron Don watching over, hopefully the group will bounce back from their previous work, Our House.
