Alongside Steve Rifkind and Brian Robbins, these industry heavyweights will promote their artists strictly via the streaming channel, putting that much more importance on visuals in general and giving Google’s online video powerhouse further pull in the always evolving music industry. Furthermore, the move makes blowing up on YouTube as an artist that much less organic, which kind of takes the magic away from the likes of a Justin Bieber-esque success story.
