Robin Thicke owes some Interscope executives a hug. His label continues to build hype for Blurred Lines in the best possible ways, be it a steady trickle of leaks that makes it impossible to go a week without hearing a new Thicke cut, a radio hit that won’t be leaving soon, or a hype-building commercial. Without a doubt, Thicke knocked “Blurred Lines” out of the park, but his label has handled every little detail flawlessly.
Which brings us to “No Hat 4 That,” a refreshing summer jam that goes down like a cool glass of sweet tea. For the umpteenth time, thank Thicke’s soulful crooning – there aren’t many pop music voices as welcomed as his. Bring on July 30th and Blurred Lines.
