I listened to Juvenile’s verse on “Pay The Rent” three times yesterday, just to see where his flow stood these days. Surprisingly enough, “Pay The Rent” is a strong piece of music from the original Hot Boy. The production keeps him locked in at a specific pace that suits and the lyrics harken back to the 400 Degreez days as he describes marathon-walking fiends, dope boys and other characters observed on the block.
I didn’t make it to Gotti’s verse though because Jeezy got in the way.
