1. Lego Delorean Time Machine

We know you still play with Legos. If you’re in denial and say you don’t, you might want to change your mind when you see the new Delorean Back To The Future time machine. The attention to detail is outstanding, and expected from those folks in Denmark. Also, you get two figurines in the likes of Marty McFly and the good Doc Brown. Rock and roll!

2. iMPC for iOS

Akai was waiting on the fence for a while, and was late to the party to release a music production app. But in the first week of August, they released the iPhone version of the iMPC which was doing well on iPad. The app is very capable with its tons of kits and presets. Should be interesting to hear the sounds people will come up with.

3. Canary home security system

We all deal with a little bit of paranoia, or the need to know what’s going on in our crib 24 hours a day. Well, the Canary is being created with you in mind. It’s a home security device with HD cameras and sensors, that can track temperature, movement, and sounds. I see this being very useful for those with sticky fingered roommates.

Pre-order: Canary.is

4. Philips SoundShooter Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

Bluetooth speakers are more popular as society becomes more wireless. And some obnoxious people just need everyone to hear their music. Philips quaint speaker is perfect for them, since it’s small, loaded with features and apparently packs a punch. That’s not due to its obvious similar shape to a grenade. But I wouldn’t take this through security check at the airport.

DC Comics-1

5. 75 Years Of DC Comics hardback book

This book is huge and expensive, but worth it. Not only is this mammoth 15.6 x 11.4 and nearly 20 pounds, but it’s also 720 pages of Batman, Superman, and the rest of your beloved DC heroes and makes for a great read or collectible.

Buy: Amazon.com
