Jhene Aiko and Childish Gambino bring good tidings and peace in the form of the singer’s new “Bed Peace” video. The accompanying visuals are said to have drawn their influence from John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s “Bed-Ins for Peace” protest during the 1969 Vietnam War, but seeing them in their PJs and it being a dreary Monday, all Jhene’s lullaby lyrics did was make me want a nap in the worst possible way. But, that should be perceived as a good thing since what’s she’s singing for is peace of mind.
