OnCue – “Way Too Far”

ONCUE-WAY-TOO-FAR

As rap fans, all we can ask for is bars of conviction, knockout hooks and dope beats. Luckily for us, OnCue is showing off on fronts with “Way Too Far.” Providing two of the three aforementioned attributes himself while Maki & Frequency illustrate the triumphant production that backs him up like an army of charging minions, Cuey comes correct as ever on this single from his upcoming project Angry Young Man, letting anyone outside his peripherals know they’re meaningless unless they’re helping him achieve his goals.

The ceiling is high for this kid and we’re looking forward to rocking out the rest of his Just Blaze executive-produced follow-up to 2011’s Can’t Wait mixtape – especially if the tracks are on this level.
