Isn’t every underground MC “Unsung” in their own eyes? If not, they should be.
On Christian Deshun’s latest release, the Shreveport spitter delivers another one of his poetic prophecies atop a self-produced, minimalized version of Outkast’s “Jazze Belle.” The track is somber, yet assertive, featuring Deshun unveiling the mind behind his grind, then reeling listeners into some storytelling at the end of two minutes of engaging bars.
Having been hip to Christian’Dee’s subtle excellence, we’re quite sure he’ll continue to negate that underdog status on his upcoming Subtle Weekends mixtape, which drops soon.
