Russell Westbrook’s Shot At 0.1 Seconds Sends Thunder Over The Warriors

Another Warriors/Thunder game, another buzzer beater.

If the NBA cares about its fans, we’ll get Dick Bavetta and Joey Crawford reffing a ton of Warriors-Thunder games in the spring to make sure we get to see them play a seven-game series. With the players involved for both teams, it would just be hard for them to play a boring game because whether we get Steph Curry putting Serge Ibaka on skates or faking Russy out his shoes, or Russell Westbrook trying to put Steph on a poster, the fans can’t lose.

In this game, Russy reclaimed the game winner that Andre Iguodala took from him in Oakland, and despite Westbrook and Kevin Durant shooting a combined 17-47, the Thunder were able to win their sixth straight game, and remain undefeated at home this season.

The Warriors hung tight with the Thunder despite missing their chief Kevin Durant foil, Iguodala, for the fourth consecutive contest. Harrison Barnes filled in nicely though, scoring a career-high 26 points, including blowing by Durant late for a go-ahead layup. Steph Curry not only made Russ jump out his shoes with a pump fake, but also poured in 32 points and somehow grabbed 11 rebounds.

I can’t be the only one who would be completely fine with fast forwarding to these two teams playing in May, right?
