Airlines losing your luggage can be downright frustrating. But losing the luggage with the most opulent of kicks you planned to wear on your vacation? Worthy of a lawsuit and catching a fade right there in the terminal. While most of us already know that you need to keep toiletries, spare skivvies and electronics in your carry on, you best not forget the shoes. The Shrine Sneaker Pack is for the OCD folks who keep their spare kicks as close to them as possible.
The early pre-orders sold the hell out on the brand’s Kickstarter and it’s easy to see why. Covered by tarpaulin and a herringbone fabric, this just isn’t a Jansport knockoff with a sneaker compartment. The Shrine pack is definitely designed with the sneakerhead in mind. Whether it’s your favorite Timbs, Foamposites, or Jordans you can fit two pairs comfortably in one of the compartments and strap them in for the flight. The center divider has two pockets for the hypebeastiest of watches, and another pocket for random items.
With space for keys, passports, and a tablet on the exterior of the pack, you’ve got all the travel basics covered. The wide shoulder straps ensure you can go from the plane straight to wilding out all day without worrying about the weight of your pack. The boxy design also lends itself to resemble most carry on luggage on flights and should fit into overhead compartments perfectly, unlike odd-shaped duffles and the like.
Shrine’s Kickstarter has 21 days left and the pre-orders are donezo, but drop a little more cash and you can still get in on some of the best sneaker-related gear for the world traveler. Get in on it while you can or pay way more in the future.
