Willie The Kid Ft. Boldy James – “Ain’t Nothin”

Coming off of this July’s excellent Alchemist-helmed Masterpiece Theatre, Willie The Kid is working on another one producer project with Wu affiliate Bronze Nazareth. “Ain’t Nothin” featuring Detroit emcee Boldy James is the latest release from Willie’s upcoming album, The Living Daylights.

Nazareth’s production on “Ain’t Nothin” has a mid-90s RZA feel to it, which is only enhanced by the haunting vocal sample employed throughout the track. The two emcees complement one another nicely, with Boldy’s Motor City murder music giving way to Willie’s slick wordplay. The Living Daylights is scheduled to drop next month, and based on the leaks, should extend Willie The Kid’s winning streak into 2014.

As a bonus, check out “Sweet Sorrow,” which will also be on the album.
