“I’m Michael in ’86, I need a Scottie Pippen/ I fixed the limp in my walk, I’m no longer pimpin'”
It takes a certain type of MC to drop a whole EP dedicated to females. On “The Introduction,” Detroit rapper Adam Reverie takes two minutes to explain why his honest, humbled approach with women makes him one of the few who can prioritize the prettier gender throughout not just one song, but an entirely cohesive project.
Luckily for any latecomers to the Reverie bandwagon, that project is from his Muses In A Reverie EP and came out in 2012 – meaning this song and five other female-friendly jams can be downloaded right now.
If the rest of the tape is as quality as his recently-released Father, Son, Brother, Friend album and this self-directed video below, everyone should be more than impressed.
