When G-Eazy’s career finally goes over the hump and magazine editors are brainstorming ideas for their cover piece on the all-around slick MC, they’ll have to look no further than his new “Almost Famous” visuals.
Strategically set-up more like a play than a traditional music video, the clip finds the New Orleans/Bay Area talent quickly changing outfits to keep up with a hectic photo shoot schedule, all for slightly altered versions of everyone’s favorite print publications. The idea is smart and comes across extremely well visually. Plus, the happily hectic theme does a great job representing a song about an artist finding himself amongst expected success.
Expect more relative perfection when his These Things Happen album drops this March 2014 and make sure to cop the song on iTunes.
