I remember my senior year of high school. Taking girls to the movies in my mom’s van, working at McDonalds, acne, shitty facial hair and really big pants. Well, senior year is going a little bit different for Kyle Gouveia of Calaveras High School in Northern California. He’s spending his last days of youth being 6’7″ and throwing down dunks that shatter backboards.
Kyle, who only started playing basketball his freshman year, has signed a letter of intent to play at California State University, Stanislaus, a nearby Division II school. No word on whether or not they’ve reinforced the backboards yet but they may want to consider it since the season’s still early.
