Jeezy was arrested recently for f*cking someone up and it wasn’t a rival rapper. According to TMZ, it was his own son.
Sourcing the incident papers, the website reports that in September 2012, Jeezy put the paws (and then some!) on his kid.
Jeezy got into a fight with his son in a bathroom and he threw his son into the glass shower door, causing the son to hit his head. Then Jeezy allegedly punched him in the face, dragged him into the bedroom, threw him on the bed and pummeled him.
The reports also claimed that Jeezy choked his son while threatening, “I will put a bullet in your head right now. If I could get away with it, I would kill you.” The boy claims he tried to escape his father’s fury but was blocked from a stairwell by one of Jeezy’s goons.
The rapper turned himself in on Friday and was released on $45,000 bond.
“We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy,” told Jeezy’s lawyers to TMZ.
Update: Jeezy’s camp releases an official statement acknowledging the charges. They thank fans for the the support and request privacy.
“Jay Jenkins, better known as rapper Young Jeezy, was recently made aware of charges in Atlanta, Georgia. Contrary to reports, Mr. Jenkins presented himself to address these charges. We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy.”
