Anthony Davis tallied 22 points and 12 rebounds Tuesday night in Miami. Unfortunately, 16 and 10 came in the first half. The Heat dominated New Orleans to the tune of 64-39 after intermission en route to an easy 107-88 victory. Perhaps the play that sprung the run was a sequence that’s happened once or twice since the fall of 2010: a Dwyane Wade-to-LeBron James alley oop.
Wade finished the night – his third consecutive game – with a near triple double of 22 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. James led the charge with 32 points, five assists, two steals and one dunk where his hand was level with the top of the square. Just another night at the office for Johnny Football’s unofficial business advisor/life coach.
The Heat travel to New York to take on the Knicks Thursday on TNT.
Bonus: He also made an old lady’s night with a kiss on the cheek.
