Introducing Samplify, The App The Tells What Samples Are In Your Favorite Songs

By 01.22.14

What do you get when you cross Shazam with WhoSampled.com? The I-should-have-thought-of-that app known as Samplify, a slick little Android app that listens to a track and pinpoints the sampled material.

A DJ and producer’s dream, Samplify links you with the YouTube video of said sampled song. It can even listen and scan songs that are on your device.

Can we expect more people to make claims on their music? Probably so. And more features are expected to be added, such as finding out all the songs that sampled a certain song. The app is free.99 for now on Google Play, so get on the ship while it’s still in its early stages.

Sadly, this is only for Android at the moment. But you can go to their website, Samplifymobile.com, and put your name down as someone interest in the iOS version.

Update: The Samplify development team contacted us to share an updated promo video. Watch it below.
