It’s definitely gotta be the shoes. The biggest Jordan release thus far is less than two weeks away in the Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Infrared.’ Of course it’s dropping All Star weekend. Definitely a good bit of news for those who missed out in 2012. The even better news is that smaller sizes will also be available, making this a general release for the masses. For those looking to double up, refrain from telling bae about the smaller size runs.
Much like its black counterpart, the white Infrareds go with the “keep it simple stupid” mantra. The partially icy sole carried over from the 5s to the 6s, but not much else. Instead of a plastic mesh, ventilation holes take center stage on the upper of the Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Infrared.’ The new inner bootie gave the shoe a Huarache-like feel, with a sturdy heel pull and rubber tongue tabs. No way there would be any complications throwing these on or the dreaded Achilles rubbing.
We’ve been pining for this release as soon as it was announced this year, and unlike some other sneaker elitists, we’re just fine that it’s a general release. Hope everyone gets their pairs come release day.
The Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Infrared’ releases February 15th.
