Frank The Butcher is at it again.
First the BAU (Business As Usual) x Reebok DMX Run made waves upon releasing last November. Now the BAU x Reebok Insta Pump Fury pack is gearing up for release some time in March. Not even a month into the 20th anniversary release of a slew of Insta Pump Furys and we’re treated to new color schemes. Showcasing a shoe for the shoe itself and not the wild colors seems on it like a lost art but Frank has mastered it.
Dubbed the ‘Father/Daughter Pack,’ Frank cites the design inspiration as a dedication “to the dad’s that handle their biz. That would walk barefoot over hot coals to make sure their daughters are safe and happy.” Buyers get a choice between the black and Killa Cam pink, or the black and khaki suit tan. Both come with a subdued splatter print on the upper and “All Is Fair” motto in script by the tongue with some nifty hangtags. Definitely a good way to grab the attention of the critical eye of sneakerheads. Chances are these Insta Pump Furys are going to have a bit of an inflated price, but given the details and extras that come with them, they’re worthy of a purchase.
The BAU x Reebok Insta Pump Fury drops early March but is available now at Hanon. Frank’s is a reported one of 20 different mock-ups created to celebrate the Furys anniversary year.
