This guy RT-FaQ always has a trick up his sleeve. Most of our staff know the St. Louis rapper best as a hell of a hooper. As it turns out, the guy’s gene pool is filled with talent (||) because he’s got a son who took after his pops when it comes to the microphone.

Little Jordin, rap name Heir Jordin, is only five but he’s got a solid grasp on what the month of February means, seen and heard in his debut song and video “Proud History.” Filmed around in East St. Louis and St. Louis, the visual captures historically Black landmarks in the frames while Jordin and his gang of mini-rap activists mix fun with fundamental knowledge, as he name-drops Malcolm X, MLK, Frederick Douglas, Rosa Parks, Gabby Douglas and more in his lines.

According to his pops, “Proud History” started out as a school project for Jordin that they quickly realized was special. “Once the song actually was done, I thought this really was kind of amazing,” RT-FaQ told the Riverfront Times. “We needed to get this out so the world can see it.”

Apparently, Little RT-FaQ knows the video’s significance and how special it is, too. “He’s pretty excited. He keeps asking me, ‘Has the world seen it yet?’ I told him it’s going to take some time, but it’s coming.”

Don’t worry, Jordin, we’ll do our part to spread the word.
