Sneakerheads visiting the Big Apple have one more door to add to their list of stores to visit.
On Saturday, Jordan Brand opened up Flight 23 at Footaction. Jordan Brand president Larry Miller, Footaction CEO Jake Jacobs and Spike were on hand to “unlace” and open the doors to hundreds of shoppers gathered on West 34th Street. Miller described Flight 23 as “…a retail experience that not only pays homage to where Jordan Brand has been, but also speaks to our vision for the future.”
The vision for the store pulls its style from elements commonly associated with JB – elephant print walls, a “Wings” logo on the flooring, shoe walls with hidden screens that appear when a shoe is lifted and content begins to play, and a customm “23” chandelier made of 340 individual gold Jumpman logos.
