Nike’s back on using denim for Forces again. The last time they did a real smash-up job using the material was for the 2011 denim/bronze joints. These two upcoming models add a different set of twist, ones that speak to the kid in me that grew up when acid wash jeans were totally acceptable.
Coming in both low and high versions, Nike went in on the details here by adding embroidered Swooshes, brass eyelets, contrast stitching and even some very oddball, but still cool rivet buttons, too. They do require a little eccentricity to make’em work but it still beats walking in a spot and seeing three other cats wearing the same joints you have on. These two joints are only for fly cats who stand on couches in the clubs and don’t get a rat’s ass about spilling anything on their kicks if it means having a good time. Squares need not even consider them.
Both versions will be available at NSW retailers including Miami’s Uptown, on February 14. Tell your sweetie to be a sweetie and scoop you up a pair.
