Here’s a quick PSA for an upcoming happening in my neck of the woods.
The Recording Academy’s Nashville chapter will be hosting a GRAMMY SoundTables panel titled “Turning Followers Into Fans” next Tuesday, April 29 and I’ve been invited to sit in on the talk. For a description, we turn to the event page:
“Find out which social platforms break through and how to turn followers into ticket and CD buyers. Discover the differences in how music fans from multiple genres consume social media and how to cut through the clutter to get your message and your music across.”
The full flyer is below and it holds all the details or visit Grammy365.com to get any info not listed here. If you’re in the 615, you should come because I promise to say at least one enlightening thing. Go here to RSVP.
For those who can’t make it, I believe they plan to broadcast the event in some way so you’ll be able to follow and submit questions by using the hashtag “#FollowersToFans.” I’ll update here once I get concrete info.
On a serious note, being considered for opportunities like this are a blessing and I want to say thanks to Eric at Lovenoise for bringing me in. We’ve worked together and I’ve always valued what he provides the city when it comes to entertainment and the tireless effort behind the scenes to make sure Music City’s urban city is represented from all angles.
